John Deere Agricultural Equipment Division is seeking an Electrical Engineer to support continuous improvement (CI) activities in the Electrical CI Product Engineering area. In this position, you will:
Follow practices and processes to design and implement cost reduction, warranty reduction, product improvement, and manufacturing improvement projects.
Support manufacturing with respect to day to day issues as required.
Support Customer Support with respect to day to day issues as required.
Education
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, or a related technology discipline.
Required Skills and Experience
Ability to work with engineering, manufacturing, and marketing personnel in a team environment to achieve a reliable product.
Ability to work with numerical data, basic statistics, and reliability data.
Good verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to organize and manage multiple concurrent activities.
Desired Skills and Experience
Good Microsoft Office skills especially Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
Experience with SAP.
Good presentation skills.
An understanding of farm tractors and/or off-road equipment and their applications.
C programming skills.
