Providing system administration oversight & services for the lab environment including:
-Over 200 end-user Windows workstations
-Over 90 Windows 2003 server
-Machines are mix of physical and virtual
-User access management
-Active directory administration
-Application access and authorizations
-Monitoring system availability & performance
-System network configurations
-Security
-Configures servers and workstations
-Provides patching services
-Active Directory services and configurations
-Virtual machine support
-Designs and develops machine templates for rapid deployments
-Designs and develops tools to enable VM ease of use for clients
-Monitors VM performance and availability
-Establishes and reports on key metrics
-Responding to system and environment issues
-Provides problem management and resolution services for development and testing efforts
-Provides support for trouble tickets
-Provides support for change requests
-Provides support for meeting lab environment SLAs
