The Partner Team focused on developing the mobility partner ecosystem - including recruitment, program definition and depth programs. The Breadth Partner Strategy position is the key liaison between the Mobility Communication Business group and the World Wide Partner Group (WPG) - ensuring that the mobility business and partner ecosystem are incorporated into the mainstream programs, other competency programs, as well as creating the unique programs/benefits within WPG to meet the needs of the mobility partners. This role also leads the communications to the mobility ecosystem - ensuring the latest MCB products and programs information gets conveyed across the partner ecosystem.

Responsibilities:
Evolving our Mobility Competency Strategy within the Microsoft Partner Program to align with the efforts of the Next Generation of the Microsoft Partner Program and our rapidly developing partner ecosystem.
Implement our partner communications strategy across all key vehicles. Manage all partner communications including the development and implementation of a monthly editorial calendar, the revamp of our Windows Mobile pages on the MSPP website, partner newsletters, RSS feeds, and all other breadth partner communications
Define and implement our Windows Mobile cross competency promotional strategy, effectively positioning Windows Mobile as a key add on to partners across all Microsoft business units.
Lead the development of partner tools and resources for each cross competency customer scenario including but not limited to Security, Hosted, Small Business, Unified Communications, and Mobile Line of Business
Act as the liaison between the Windows Mobile business group and the world wide partner group on all relevant matters
Drive Mobility breadth partner to partner strategy, including our online Solutions Profiler, and integration with WPG to implement Mobility partner to partner pilots to help define the Next Generation MSPP partner to partner strategy
Role in Business Process
Cross promotion of Mobility competency with four complementary competencies in Microsoft Solution Partner Program (MSPP) - driving the cross-functional team alignment, tool development and launch to partners. Goal is target 200 net new partners in FY09
Drive alignment with WPG for integration into MSPP Next Gen - ensuring that mobility is incorporated into the three year partner program plan
Develop & Implement in depth to partner communications strategy across all relevant communications vehicles
This is a worldwide position - which means ensuring that the breadth partner programs meet the needs of mobility partners across the globe.
The individual will be responsible for researching and making recommendations as it relates to:
o breadth program requirements that need to be incorporated into the broad WPG program
o which core competencies to collaborate with for mobility
o what communication vehicles are preferred and leverage to update mobility partners.
This individual is responsible for defining the breadth partner strategy for mobility partners (across all partner types) - which requires close collaboration with partner team members who specialize with specific partner types as well as staying up to date on all MCB activity that is relevant for our partners. This individual will research best practices and methodologies to make specific recommendations on the breadth strategy approach.
