Our client is involved with the designing and construction of mining and mineral processing operations throughout the country. The Denver office needs a Structural Engineer with specific background in the design of conveyors and other ore and raw material handling and processing equipment. Candidates must have five or more years of experience on industrial projects designing heavy steel and concrete structures and foundations. Skills, Experience & Qualifications:
- Prior experience and knowledge of civil and structural engineering and construction methods required.
- Strong experience with bulk material conveyors, structural steel, and mechanical installation required.
- A minimum of 5 years 2-D and 3-D CAD experience desired.
- Experience with STAAD program software strongly desired.
- A Civil / Structural engineering bachelor's degree is required.
- The ability to travel as needed to project sites across the country and internationally is required.
- Project estimating experience OR knowledge of estimating processes and practices is preferred.
- Professional Engineer license strongly preferred.
