Position : ERAS Sr. Outreach Specialist

Description :

TheERAS Senior Outreach Specialist is an integral member of the Mission Support, Application Services Cluster, which is responsible for medical school application services such as ERAS, MCAT, and AMCAS. Areas of focus for this position include developing strong relationships with staff at medical schools and teaching hospitals, developing educational and marketing materials, leading presentations to clients, as well as leading and analyzing market research projects. This position involves a combination of product management (launching and managing new businesses already in the pipeline) and business development (creating new opportunities). The successful candidate will be a results-oriented team player and will posses excellent quantitative analytical and technical skills.

The Senior Outreach Specialist will:

Build key strategic partnerships, both internally and externally. Attend client meetings and conferences to present AAMC products.

Develop user materials to support ERAS and FindAResident participants, including, but not limited to, websites, training courses, manuals, brochures, online tutorials as well as satisfaction surveys

Provide input to the software development process on client needs by assisting technical staff in defining software requirements.

Act as the point-of-contact for client support, particularly for FindAResident users

Conduct outreach marketing, analyze marketing data, strategize marketing plans and conduct site events with a focus on public relations

Initiate benchmark studies to define customer satisfaction levels, market levels, and the overall effectiveness of the organization's marketing strategies

Oversee and provide direction to two support staff members

Qualifications:
? BA/BS degree required; Masters preferred
? Minimum four years of experience in program administration, preferably with an educational institution or association
? Experience in the implementation/management and user support of a large computer-based service is required
? Product/market management and new business development experience desirable
? Excellent writing, organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills with the ability to prioritize multiple projects
