TheCampaign Coordinator will be responsible for administrative support, outreach, and coordinating pilot sites for Aspiringdocs.org. The Coordinator will track campaign activities, produce activity reports, coordinate meetings for the Aspiringdocs.org Project Team, analyze Web site activity, and respond to inquiries regarding the campaign. Plan and implement strategies for pilot programs in coordination with campus representatives, DPP staff, and campaign consultants. Carry out outreach activities through attending or sending materials to regional and national events, distribution of campaign materials, communicating with external stakeholders to extend the reach of the campaign, provide progress reports, developing and supporting an Aspiringdocs.org listserv, and mailings, e-mailings, etc. as needed.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree with 3-5 years of relevant experience; Master's degree with 2 years of relevant experience preferred.
Experience should include:
-working directly with college-age students from low-income, disadvantaged, and underrepresented populations
-implementing recruitment strategies to bring individuals from these populations into higher education, with a focus on medical education or health professions education
-planning and managing programs, including student events, designed to increase diversity in higher education
-developing and conducting diversity-related presentations to both students and educators
Candidates should possess knowledge about and commitment to equity in education and health care; demonstrated success in program and project development and management; excellent organizational skills; strong writing skills; well-developed interpersonal and communication skills; the ability to work independently as well as in collaboration with a team in a diverse professional environment; and excellent knowledge of MS Office applications. Knowledge of Web applications and design preferred.
