They literally take the paper out of the process and are the technology leader in a two trillion dollar healthcare industry. Working with over 138,000 clients and 410 insurance carriers, my client is able to impact millions of people ranging from the carrier to the consumer.
We are looking for outstanding Software Engineers to join our team in Greenville, SC. These individuals will play a key role in the development of new technology products for web-based insurance benefits enrollment.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. During the first month of employment, actively work on bugs with a mentor to understand the underlying technology, coding methodology, and database structure.
2. Interact with various teams in the organization to clarify requirements.
3. Participate in requirements gathering, design, and code review.
4. Develop codes using Java technologies and Oracle.
5. Interact with Release Management and QA for timely release of issues and/or features assigned to you.

REQUIRED SKILLS/EDUCATION:
1. Minimum of two years experience with Java
2. Minimum of two years experience in software design and development
3. Experience with application development against a relational database (preferably Oracle
4. Experience with OO design
5. Fundamental understanding of distributed architectures
6. Bachelor degree required; Computer Science or Computer Engineer preferred
