Lighting Quotations Specialist

We currently have an opening for a Lighting Quotations Specialist in Madison, WI to quote lighting material from plans and specifications on construction projects. This person will build lighting Bills of Material from a blueprint and also suggest lighting products to customers on design-build projects. If you have experience working with large and medium sized contractors, a lighting company, an electrical distribution competitor, or manufacturer who sells to CESCO this may be an opportunity for you. Primary duties include:
Interacting with electrical contractors, architects, engineers, and owners to suggest lighting products
Performing lighting project takeoffs
Negotiating pricing with lighting manufacturers and customers
Collecting and analyzing quotations data to determine patterns of success or failure
We are looking for atake-charge individual who is eager to help support and grow our business. If you are dedicated to customer service, possess electrical product knowledge, and are able to manage multiple tasks you might be the right person to join our team. We prefer 2+ years of practical experience in the electrical distribution industry and/or construction market with basic knowledge of lighting/lamp technology pricing. Accuracy, attention to detail, verbal and written communication, customer service, negotiation, problem solving, PC literacy, and the ability to work effectively with others are essential traits for this position.
