SYSTEMS AND NETWORK ADMINISTRATOR
The engineer will be responsible for the development and administration of a highly secure and redundant network. Administration will involve all aspects of hardware integration, replacement and routing maintenance as well as network security and monitoring. Engineer will capture requirements, log trouble tickets, and provide immediate support to end users and administrators.
Duties and Responsibilities :
? Routine Windows/Linux administration
? Cisco router and PIX administration
? Prior experience with data tunneling and system encryption technologies
? Network design and system integration
? Log and track trouble tickets and user requests
? Some travel required
Minimum Job Requirements:
Bachelors degree in engineering with 3 to 5 years experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:
? Practical experience in large routable networks, data center operation
? General PC server hardware test and evaluation experience
? Experience in systems administration in Linux and Windows environments
? Excellent communication and reporting skills
? Self-motivated, strong internal drive
? Willingness to learn new technology
? Programming experience is a plus (C, C++, VB, Perl, RUBY, Python)
? Help Desk experience is a plus
