As an Operations Leader, you will be directing the work of hourly employees in the Shreveport Transformer business to meet safety, quality, production and delivery metrics. Drive continuous improvement across key business objectives.
Direct the activities of an hourly team.
Achieves highest safety levels in the plant.
Develop, coordinate, lead and execute daily production plans.
Coordinate consistent and effective shift-to-shift transition.
Develop and implement process controls.
Support in the strategic planning of manpower, equipment and other resources.
Mentor and motivate team in safety, quality and productivity improvements.
Employs Lean Manufacturing practices to accomplish operational objectives.
Coordinate resources to achieve goals with a timely and cost-effective strategy.
Qualifications
Associates degree.
Minimum 3 year experience in a manufacturing, supply chain, operations, or logistics environment.
Desired
Bachelors degree in Engineering.
Previous supervisory / leadership experience in a manufacturing environment.
Corporate Training Program graduate (manufacturing / operations / engineering).
Six Sigma Green Belt certified (GE employees only).
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
