Responsible for defined work or finance / marketing projects with moderate complexity. Follows an individual work plan and meets day-to-day short-term objectives. Has the ability to resolve issues through immediate action or short-term planning.
* Develop strategic and tactical pricing points in conjunction with the marketing plan.
* Analyze the cause and effect of pricing decisions in the market place and provide recommendations on pricing.
* Analyze customer acceptance of new products and pricing of same.
* Develop and maintain a competitive pricing base.
* Coordinate forecasted costs and set standard costs.
* Proactively value price relative to competitive products and product performance.
* Establish and coordinate cost and price breakouts with partners.
Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma/GED with at least 4 years of experience in a marketing position). Desired
* At least 4 years experience in program cost analysis in aerospace, defense or manufacturing industry.
* Pricing background should including preparation of cost volume proposals for Government and Commercial proposals that include multi-year, sole source and competitive types.
* Understanding of BOMs, manufacturing processes including labor and material procurement.
* Experience with audits, fact finding and negotiations with customers and government representatives.
* An understanding of blueprints, engineering principles, MIL specs, FARs and Cost Accounting Standards.
* Established analytical and problem solving ability.
* Strong oral and written communication skills.
* Strong interpersonal and leadership skills.
* Able to meet eligibility requirements for access to controlled technology.
