Temporary Pledge Processing Opportunities
Batch Auditors
Position Duration: November 12, 2008 - January 16 , 2009
SUMMARY:
Under direct supervision, performs check of donor information. Prepares daily cash/check deposits for bank.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Balances batches and reconciles errors.
Verifies data to ensure accuracy of completed work; scans and edits for pledge errors during processing.
May perform clerical duties as needed.
May image documents using a Kodak scanner and software.
May work on weekends and/or various shift assignments.
Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned, including computer usage.
MINIMUM JOB REQUIREMENTS:
High school diploma or equivalent with one year of cash handling experience.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:
Ability to maintain confidentiality of records and information
Successful candidates will have strong analytical skills.
Ability to understand and follow specific instructions and procedures.
Ability to work well under pressure.
Ability to recognize when data falls outside of normal parameters and utilizes lead and or supervisor to resolve issues.
DISTINGUISHING CHARACTERISTICS:
Position requires: a) audit of pledge forms and performance of routine mathematical calculations, and b) utilization of 10-key
WORKING CONDITIONS AND PHYSICAL EFFORT:
Work is normally performed in a confined interior/office work environment.
No or very limited physical effort required.
No or very limited exposure to physical risk.
Position works under constant time requirements/constraints with exposure to hot/cold environments and some noise.
