Position Description
Analyzes complex networks and optimize test message traffic. Responsible for the design optimization, implementation, and troubleshooting of UNIX and Windows platforms, operating environments and complex communication systems. Experience with network protocols (WAN and LAN), UNIX, and Window based systems. Design, install and maintain network and communication equipment used to support simulation labs. Knowledge of CISCO switch configurations, operations and troubleshooting. Understanding of network topologies, protocols, and performance management techniques. Develop engineering processes and procedures and drawing standards. Present engineering changes to a formal board and implement approved changes. Document all designs using formal drawings. Experience with MRB and nonconformance documentation desired.
