Crescent Electric Supply Co (CESCO) was founded in 1919 and is one of the largest electrical distributors in the United States. Crescent Electric Supply is a full-line distributor of electrical, electronic, automation and voice data products with 126 locations throughout 26 states. Our end customers range from Electrical Contractors, Industrial OEM & MRO customers to Commercial, Institutional, Educational and Government entities.
We are currently searching for aBranch Manager inCedar Rapids , Iowa . Primary daily duties include:
Directing and coordinating sales efforts
Recruiting, hiring, training, evaluating, motivating, and leading all personnel in the branch
Analyzing and overseeing training for all personnel
Maintaining current knowledge of markets served, customers, vendors, and products
Modeling superior customer service while promoting Crescent Value Added Services
Working with other Crescent team members to build profitability and market effectiveness
Managing the performance of all direct reports
Backing up and supporting Account Managers
Candidates must have a High School Diploma and at least 3-5 years of related experience. Bachelor's degree is preferred. Candidates must have experience in managing and leading a team, reading and interpreting financial statements, and implementing sales strategies. Candidates must have knowledge of all functional areas in a wholesale distributorship.
