Job Overview:
ATMI is seeking an energetic, seasoned Supply Chain Professional to manage and continuously improve the Distribution Planning to world class capability. The position is located in Round Rock, TX and reports to the Manger, Distribution Planning. The ideal candidate will have a track record of partnering with others in a cross cultural organization as well as the analytical skills to solve problems. Primary Responsibilities:
? Supervise, mentor, develop, educate and train a global distribution planning team;
? Global ownership of the finished goods distribution network design and requirements schedule;
? Global ownership of finished goods inventory, systems, policies and procedures related to finished goods inventory management, replenishment cycles, consignment, OTIF (on time in full) performance and reverse supply chain activities;
? Partner with country managers to ensure global distribution policies and procedures are properly implemented and adhered to within each country;
? Ensure appropriate product planning parameters and attributes are managed and up to date;
? Drive improved OTIF performance while minimizing cost, inventory value & inventory risk;
? Understand customer contractual commitments and compliance with terms;
? Drive appropriate processes and improvements to the consignment processes that benefit ATMI and ultimately customers;
? Pro-actively provide planning and supply chain alternatives that increase efficiency, reduce cost or risk, or increase service capability;
? Interact on a daily basis with manufacturing leaders, supply planners, finance, IT, sales & marketing, field sales and customer service;
? Must have the flexibility to travel approximately 20%, domestically & internationally;
Education/Experience:
? Bachelor's Degree;
? 5+ years of experience in supply chain or related field;
? Proven expertise and performance in a global supply chain distribution role (processes & systems);
? Knowledge of KBM and Six Sigma problem solving methodologies;
? APICS certification a strong plus;
