Here is an opportunity to join one of the most exciting divisions of Microsoft, Home and Entertainment! Finance is looking for someone with drive and enthusiasm to take on a high impact role as a Finance Manager supporting the AOC Supply Chain. The team is responsible for all E&D operations financial transactions, business planning, and driving support in partnership with the operations group. You will use your skills to support COGS for all products sold in North America, including Xbox, Zune, Windows, Office, and Hardware products.
Responsibilities:
Accounting & Internal Controls
Manage and support all aspects of accounting and planning for COGS for North America
Ownership for accuracy and Integrity of accounts on a monthly basis
Ownership of Sarbanes Oxley compliance documentation and testing for inventory and revenue controls in North America including reviews of user access and segregation of duties reviews
Monthly Reporting
Complete Cogs results analysis on a monthly basis
Owns relationship with the business cost owners end to end and full responsibility for maintaining the integrity of the reporting of COGS
Constantly look for ways to improve efficiency of reporting through automation
Manage the development of analysis and reports to support management understanding of Freight and Fulfillment Cogs components in the P&L and the detailed cost drivers/levers behind these
Forecasting & Planning
Drive and support a robust forecasting process. Understand the systems, policies & processes that create the numbers and drive best practice to ensure accuracy of forecasting
Qualifications Should Include:
A minimum of 4-5 years of demonstrated work experience in a similar role
CPA or CMA preferred
Excellent communication skills (written and oral), including an ability to communicate effectively with senior management.
A self-starter with excellent analytical and problem solving skills, and an ability to work on own initiative and drive for results is required
Excellent PC skills, particularly in Excel are required. SAP experience is also desirable
Knowledge of the Consumer Electronics industry is preferred
