* The Advanced Manufacturing Engineering Leader will provide leadership and execution for gas turbine New Product Introduction (NPI) / New Technology Introduction (NTI) programs for manufacturing and supply chain - ensure product specifications are aligned with product cost requirements; drive design for manufacturability and producability; ensure product meets all quality requirements - establish metrics to manage and report to senior leadership.

* Lead approximately 15 advanced manufacturing engineers to deliver on-time, on-budget, on-cost programs. Providing coaching and development, career advice, and performance feedback.

* Coordinate with design and materials engineering to ensure program deliverables are met for drawing issuance and process development.

* Manage the manufacturing plant and equipment budget - establish budget requirements to support Program deliverables; control spending profiles; manage the budget process for the Growth Playbook, SII and other financial milestones.

* Lead program issue resolution to minimize cost and schedule impact.

* Lead and manage qualification of new hardware and assemblies -develop metrics to transfer qualified and simplified parts routings to production COE's.

* Coordinate the make/buy process and work with NPI sourcing and cell leadership for on time delivery of components.
Qualifications

* Bachelor's degree in engineering from an accredited institution.

* 5+ years of engineering experience.

* 3+ years experience in development and introduction of new gas turbine or other industry specific turbines.

* 2+ years project or program management experience.

* 2+ years production cell management or engineering management experience.

* Green belt certification (GE employees only).

ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS:

* Must meet export control requirements - US citizen or green card holder.

Desired

* Master's degree in engineering.

* Mechanical engineering experience or concentration in Bachelor's or Master's studies.

* Familiarity with gas turbine product lines.

* Familiarity with processes used in gas turbine component production.

* NPI Tollgate, TIMES, COPICS, DCI, Dart experience.

* Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

* Master Black Belt / Black Belt Certified (GE employees only).

* Metric focused experience with cost and fulfillment management.
