Description :
Perspective
You thought we were a just a cable company? That's like calling yourself a hack, run-of-the-mill, Interactive Specialist. You'll find many similar surprises in store, and your pre-conceived notions will vanish like a new CIM employee's cable bill. Poof. Gone. Sayonara.
CIM 101
CIM is a team of talented and intelligent people who share a passion for making media consumption amazingly simple. We create media technology and deliver it to the world through an extensive online portfolio of properties. We're talking entertainment to ecommerce, within all facets of media; web, video, mobile, cross-platform and beyond.
Not unlike our casual style, our corporate obelisk also stands out from the crowd. It's packed full of eye-popping views, a glass atrium, strategy rooms and a myriad of "munchie" spots. Don't let our size fool you though. We're not all corporate and stuffy. Just bright, neighborly folk who are big on RAM and enjoy playing in one of the country's larger sandboxes.
A to B
Our enormous center city structure connects directly to Suburban Station, so your precious do won't suffer due to inclement weather (or even a slight breeze). Cabs, Philly Phlash, Septa buses, horse and buggy, you name it?you can get around with ease.
Plunge
Without hesitation, you'll spring right into action: drinking coffee, developing microsites, enriching applications, spilling coffee, waking up layouts, coding, watching interns, making banner-ads blossom and skinning.
You'll maneuver across platforms (mobile, Web, TV and beyond?) through a robust background of ActionScript, Flash and HTML. You'll keep current with technology, and help influence design and enhance product vision.
You've lived by the code long enough to understand it's constantly changing?just like your average day. One minute, you're the liaison between the Design and Engineering teams?and the next you're smack in the middle of a conceptual brainstorm, talking new technology or developing ActionScript. And if you have a few extra minutes, you're wowing coworkers with mad Guitar Hero skills in our lounge. Free Bird!
Sustenance
Content was never really king. Food was, is and always will be. So take a break from working your brain to the bone and you can head up to the best cafeteria this side of Market Street. If that doesn't do it, choose from a zillion restaurants in the area. There's a java "shrine" in the kitchen, loads of complimentary snacks, a back-up caf? (if one isn't enough), underground shops and more. You won't go hungry. Nor will you go thirsty. There's a plethora of Happy Hour hot spots almost within arm's length.
