CHAPLAIN
Full-Time Contract
The Wyoming Department of Corrections is seeking Chaplain Services at our institutions located within the State of Wyoming. Chaplain Services include planning, developing, coordinating, and supervising inmate religious activities; manage religious property for inmates; attend to the religious/spiritual requests of each inmate, regardless of the inmate's religious belief or affiliation; adhere to dietary and other requirements of an inmate's faith in a high security prison.
Requires a Bachelor's Degree in theology, religious education, or closely related field, PLUS two years of professional level experience in the clergy or providing spiritual counseling and an endorsement from the individual's respective faith. No substitution will be allowed for the endorsement from the faith.
This position requires 1 week of the WDOC Training Academy paid for by WDOC. Salary: $50,000 per year, no paid benefits. Interested applicants should submit a resume to:
