Our Client is looking for a proven, hands on Procurement Engineering leader with tangible component or product procurement experience.
Our Manager must understand the manufacturing process and the cost drivers.
Expertise to include: technical communication, direct line management experience and technical problem management.
Manager should have procurement management experience, i.e.. managing supplier relationships with a responsibilty for quality and process capabilities.
The Procurement Engineering Manager for this position will manage all the electronic components and subassemblies.
***Hands on experience is a must for this position.
Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Industrial Engineering or equivalent
5-10 years technical professional experience in a product development or manufacturing engineering environment
3+ years management experience in a technical environment
Excellent interpersonal and communications skills
Strong relationship management skills
Six sigma experience
Demonstrated success in building organizational strength
Experience with SAP and/or BW a significant plus
