TheField Construction Administrator will act in the capacity as the owners representative during the construction phase of public infrastructure projects. The successful canidate shall possess the following characteristics:
Bachelor's Degree in Civil or Transportation Engineering,
PE desired, but not required,
Minimum 5 years of experience monitoring, reporting and record keeping of construction activities on public infrastructure projects,
Well versed in the delivery system of public utilities, public roads and environmental compliance,
Excellent oral communication and written skills needed,
Must interact well with municipal/state/public employees and local residents.
Duties will include;
General review of design and contract documents,
Daily monitoring and reporting of construction progress,
Attendance at public and weekly construction progress meetings,
Record keeping and maintaining in accordance with state or municpal MURK,
Liason between the project and the owner, contractor and residents,
Approve/Disaprove contractors pay application,
Shop drawing tracking and dispositions,
Final acceptance documentation.
