The North American Software Planning and Manufacturing team within Entertainment and Devices is looking for a business manager to develop and drive business initiatives enhancing our position in the industry. A strong and energetic business manager is needed to support the organizational initiatives.
The qualified candidate will have a strong sense of business acumen, is a thought leader, and must have expertise in Project/Program Management driving cross regional supply chain programs. The candidate will lead the execution of key initiatives and projects within the Software manufacturing space emphasizing their collaboration skills. Primary responsibilities of this position include:
Establish relationship with SW Vendor Account Managers (VAMs) and SW Planners ensuring proper business methodology is adhered to and followed
Identify areas of opportunity for business and cost improvements
Collaborate with Forecasting and Planning measuring and improving forecast accuracy and stability.
Identify other supply chain opportunities which support the book of business model and lead the initiative to implement
Work with E&D Finance preparing month end financial statements and analysis
Develop and communicate financial metrics ie: PPV, variance to budget, scrap, obso, COGS, Rev,
Preparing and communicating business metrics ; ie: inventory positions, weeks on hands, leadtime, line of business trends
Run the rhythm of the business relating to finance, metrics, and initiative tracking
Represent management team at various meetings
Qualifications
8-10 years Supply Chain or Manufacturing / Operations Engineering experience. MBA preferred
Experience in finance, metric definition and management, supply chain operations and program management at an intermediate or advanced level.
Ability to read and create financial statements
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple programs/projects
Strong working knowledge of end to end business requirements
Strong customer focus in all internal and external business decisions.
Executive level visibility and communication
Working knowledge of IT Infrastructures, prefer SAP or equivalent. Must be capable of leading effectively and motivating others to achieve overall program goals.
Strong written/oral communication skills, problem resolution, judgment, decision making skills, and business acumen required
Technical skills including Powerpoint, excel, outlook (all MS Office Suite applications)
