We are currently recruiting for outstanding internship opportunities that will be based at one of our facilities either in Monterey, CA or Burr Ridge, IL. An internship at CTB means working on meaningful projects in your field of interest. Opportunities are available in various disciplines, including Research, Operations, Project Management, Technology, Programs, Publishing, Sales, Legal, and Marketing.

MAJOR ACCOUNTABILITIES:
Understand the need for target market information as well as its potential uses
Independently conduct thorough and documented research
Independently develop and maintain database of documents, statistics, and contact information
Independently and in collaboration with others, analyze and prioritize opportunities
OBJECTIVES:
Conduct thorough background research on a variety of topics to include, educational systems, policies, and reform efforts in select countries and regions. For the same countries and regions, conduct market analyses of initiatives, funding structures, public and private expenditures for target products, listing and market status of existing companies' products and services in the target space.

Business, Economics, Marketing, or Policy Studies - prefer graduate student or must be at least in the third year of an undergraduate program.
Demonstrated ability to independently pursue research topics, identify the most critical components, and provide clear and concise written reports of the results in either an academic or professional environment.
Excellent communication skills (oral and written)
MS Excel and Word - required
MS Access - desired
Second language - desired
DURATION: EIGHT WEEK SUMMER PROJECT.
LOCATION: Internship project will be at CTB's office in Monterey, California.
COMPENSATION: Hourly wage, housing, transportation and meal plan.
WHO SHOULD APPLY: Must be Junior status or above and currently enrolled in an accredited college or university program.
