Your automotive expertise will pay off as you relocate to this Southern community and support plant start up in electrical purchasing/supply chain role. As Assistant Manager, you will be providing support and leading a group of buying professionals.
The electrical parts are your focus and the client is looking for your procurement background from an OEM (major automotive manufacturer) related to automotive electrical parts.
Lead negotiations and determine the strategy for your supply base.
Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering discipline or similar function in manufacturing environment (equivalent combination of education and experience).
Certified Purchasing Manager (C.P.M.) designation preferred with 5-8 years of top experience in supply chain. Strong leadership abilities are an absolute.

Electrical purchasing experience in automotive
Proven leadership ability
5-8 years in supply chain
