Location: West Point, GA
This procurement role in automotive will keep you busy as you are developing and managing the supplier base for a plant start up. Not only a purchasing background (and preferable your CPM) but a Bachelors in Engineering or Business will be required as you will be meeting with suppliers and must have the ability to read a drawing, support negotiations etc.
Seeking your background with an OEM (major automotive manufacturer) related to the chassis. Your 2-5 years of automotive experience, the ability to set expectations and monitor results are needed. Your technology skills related to excel and purchasing systems should be outstanding.
Representing a world class firm you will buy c hassis parts, such as engines, transmissions, drive train, suspension, axles, torque (fasteners), tie rod end, ball joint, control arm unit, rack end, Idler arm, Pitman Arm, ball joints, brake lining/pad/shoe, engine seating, rubber parts, suspension parts, tie rod, universal joints, shock absorbers etc
Bachelors, 2-5 years automotive, exceptional references and CPM and OEM preferred.
Relocation will be provided. Base plus overtime, benefits, 401k and more.
