Location: West Point, GA
You will be the right hand person for the group leaders and staff related to troubleshooting equipment problems in the general assembly area.
PLC programming (preferably A/B or Siemens) is required.
You have the ability to understand schematics and specifications of electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems. Experience withautomation, design, installation, and repair of equipment in a manufacturing environment is the focus.
You have a diverse day in that you also support key maintenance indicators such as budget, downtime, manpower, preventive maintenance, spare parts, and computerized systems.
With a plant start up you will also focus on maintenance documentation.
Bachelors degree in mechanical, electrical, or industrial engineering or equivalent experience, along with two (2) to five (5) years of progressive experience in maintenance, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. OEM with major automotive preferred.
