John Deere Credit was founded to offer financing solutions to the industries we serve and the customers we know best. In addition to providing retail, wholesale and lease financing to help customers buy John Deere equipment, we also serve the broader needs of the agricultural industry by offering revolving credit, input and operating loans to help farmers purchase needed supplies and services. John Deere Credit has also recently entered the renewable energy arena with a business unit that focuses on community-based wind projects.
John Deere Credit is looking for a Process Pro to lead, manage, facilitate, and implement projects which involve a single complex process (i.e. operating plan projects) or those projects involving the majority of the company's processes. This position will be working towards black belt certification and be 100% project deployed. Responsibilities include:
Manage, lead, and facilitate project teams through the definition, development, and implementation of process improvements.
Provide knowledge of business processes, rules, and practices.
Facilitate the definition, clarification, and documentation of such, in support of tactical and strategic business plans and in alignment with continuous improvement efforts.
Apply process methodologies, tools, and measurement systems including DMAIC, six sigma, change management tools, financial analysis, and decision tools to achieve business results.
Lead project teams toward definition and implementation of new process/solution.
Exhibit strong organizational, communication, and documentation skills.
Act as resource to project owner, communicate project milestones and project documentation to ensure objectives of improvement teams are met.
Document and report team efforts and progress and validate that team results endure after project closure.
Ensure process metrics and target performance levels are identified, implemented, and monitored.
Utilize advanced statistical methods to analyze problems for improving enterprise processes.
Assist other Process Pros in duties such as project chartering, AIM facilitation, Process Documentation, etc. on a routine basis.
Education
Degree in a Business/Management, Engineering/Technology, Science, or Math discipline or equivalent experience.
Skills and Qualifications
Knowledge of tactical quality tools such as six sigma.
Understanding of quality management principles, tools, and processes.
Training in and experience using process improvement methodologies (i.e. documentation, project charters, process measures, etc).
Broad experience in manufacturing, engineering, customer relationships, marketing, sales and/or supply management.
Cross functional work experience(s) in multiple major areas such as: accounting, product engineering, quality, manufacturing operations, warehousing and/or distribution, production employee supervision, supply management, marketing, human resources, industrial engineering, etc.
Project management experience.
Demonstrated team leadership and mentoring experience.
