Description :
The Sales Consultant provides technical support in sales presentations, product demonstrations, installation and maintenance of company products to ensure that the system is functioning according to specifications. May provide answers to customer inquiries concerning system software and applications. May build a mini-application based on customer requirements to demonstrate feasibility of the application, often requiring rapid prototyping. Works on problems of diverse scope where analysis of data requires evaluation of identifiable factors. Exercises judgment within generally defined practices and policies in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions.
Responsible for supporting the sales organization from pre-sales systems engineering consulting activities through post-sales installation and implementation support.
Requires a BS degree or equivalent experience in product applications, ability to understand and explain related technical issues, working knowledge of company products, all potential applications and effective communication skills.
