Help create an incredible on demand video experience for millions of consumers around the globe.
Design, build and integrate existing solutions for media asset management and publishing of video, editorial and other content into our service workflow for the overall video pipeline. Wonderful opportunity to be instrumental in shaping Zune and XBox Video into a world class video publishing pipeline.
We are looking for a Lead SDET whose responsibilities will include:
Managing and growing a team of high performing SDETs.
defining QA and Release processes
defining exit criteria.
Working with Dev, PM and partner teams to improve and evolve our asset management infrastructure to streamline the video ingestion processes.
Create test methodology for publishing tools to increase capacity and throughput of the video workflow.
Work closely with internal partner teams to provide publishing and editorial tools for the overall Zune content publishing and service infrastructure.
Investigate existing third party and internal asset management and content publishing tools and make recommendations on adoption, integration and implement as needed.
A qualified candidate should have the following required skills/experiences:
QA experience with all stages of the product cycle across multiple releases.
A minimum of 6 years of total professional software development/testing experience with at least 2 years of Lead experience.
Extensive experience with test methodologies and automation techniques.
Proven ability to recruit and staff a diverse team and a passion for people development.
Proven communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
Experience with C# and/or the .Net Framework.
A Bachelors/Masters in Computer Science or equivalent is preferred.
