GamesIT is seeking a highly motivated and qualified individual to contribute on a skilled team supporting a wide range of customers throughout the Entertainment and Devices division. Candidates will be involved in the entire lifecycle of the upcoming online service releases to ensure operational systems requirements are met and services are rolled out, including: participating in the specification creation and review processes; providing consultation during systems architectural design and component development phases; coordinating reviews with the appropriate Operations resources for network design, security compliance, platform design, capacity planning, performance analysis, monitoring strategies, datacenter deployment, and service support requirements.
This position will contribute directly in establishing GamesIT as an industry-leading expert in online gaming services from the infrastructure needs to the internet presence. This role works closely and consults with the product development and test teams, during both pre-release and post-launch product cycles to improve operational supportability of released products. You will work with other team members to troubleshoot complex support issues, identify root causes and develop mitigation options.
The ideal candidate will develop comprehensive project plans, manage complex projects, coordinate across teams, and drive to completion, while maintaining customer satisfaction and clearly communicating status to all project stakeholders. A strong technical aptitude is required including previous experience in one or more of the following areas: Server deployment and imaging, large-scale network engineering/implementation, release management as well as a general knowledge of large-scale datacenter infrastructure and operations.
Minimum requirements
* 3+ years of Program/Project Management experience
* 2+ years of client/partner relationship management
* 2+ years of service management experience
* BS or equivalent in Management Information Systems (MIS) or a related field
* Experience in a large-scale network operations environment
* Strong written/verbal communication skills are required
