Senior Commercial Construction Project Manager - Financial

RESPONSIBILITIES
· Must demonstrate the ability and experience necessary to manage the complete design and construction cycle of a design/build project for financial institution clients from initial site selection thru design, entitlements and construction.
· Negotiate bidding process with subcontractors and clients to gain final approvals
· Hire and manage all consultants and contractors for each project
· Coordinate the work timely and efficiently
· Manage all assigned projects for on schedule completion and on budget
· Communicate effectively with other NewGround disciplines, the client, subcontractors and local building/licensing officials
· Build and maintain strong client relationships
· Represent NewGround responsibly with honesty and integrity
QUALIFICATIONS
· At least 10 years of Commercial Construction Project Management experience in the Financial arena. Bank or Credit Union experience is required. Please do not inquire if you have a residential construction background.
· A broad-based knowledge of construction disciplines and specialized experience in commercial construction within the financial arena.
· Demonstrated success working within a dynamic, fast paced environment and foster positive relationships with internal and external customers
· Must have a high level of business acumen and a proven track record in Leadership, Professionalism, Technical Ability, Work Ethic, Attitude (Team Player)
· Experienced in managing multiple projects simultaneously working with a myriad of high level management within the client company
· Establish and maintain professional working relationships with owners, architects, engineers, subcontractors and suppliers
· Must have excellent analytical, problem-solving and organizational skills
· Must be results-oriented and able to prioritize tasks and responsibilities
· Must possess excellent written, verbal skills and strong presentation skills
· Must have the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
· Must be detail oriented and ensure that quality standards are achieved in order to deliver superior products and services
· Proficient in MS Project, Microsoft Outlook, PowerPoint, Word and Excel
· Must possess a bachelors degree in a relevant field
· Willing to travel 50-80%
