We here at Fletcher Allen are looking for an amazing Nurse Manager for our Cardio-thoracic and Vascular Surgery Department. You will WORK HARD - facilitating the realization of the Fletcher Allen mission, strategic plan and values. You will plan for, lead, coordinate and facilitate the provision of quality care and service for our patients and their families. On a daily basis, you will provide leadership, consultation and collaboration in a dynamic multidisciplinary teaching environment, and collaborate with administrators and other members of our team to design, evaluate and improve our patient cares systems and processes.
Cardio-thoracic and Vascular Surgery is a 21 bed unit and has an active shared governance structure with quality improvement, education and practice councils.
You must possess creativity, integrity and initiative to succeed in this role, plus at least 3 years of nursing experience and a BSN. Masters preferred.
