Software Developer in Test (SDET)
Responsibilities:
-Work closely within an Agile environment with other engineers and Program Managers to understand product requirements and validate the software solutions produced by the team.
-Effectively design and implement tests and test related tools.
-File bugs, pursue resolutions and subsequent regressions.
-Write test designs, test cases, and participate in code reviews.
-Own testing of key features and products.
-Interact with developers and understand product design.
-Build tools and test automation that increases team output and product quality.
-Communicate effectively with others.
Requirements:
-3+ Years of experience as an SDET and/or developer.
-Experience testing/developing web services.
-Strong understanding of one of the following languages: C/C++, Java, or C# and XML (required).
-Experience with .NET, AJAX, and MS SQL server technologies.
-Ability and experience writing automated test cases using one of the languages listed above - strong white box tester.
-Strong ability to write effective test designs and test cases.
-Strong ability and desire to run manual test cases when required.
Additional Skills Desired:
-Bachelor's degree in Computer Science.
-Experience using UI Automation tools like WinRunner or Quick Test Pro.
-Experience with load testing using a tool like LoadRunner. (Ability to profile code.)
