We have several exciting Editorial opportunities located in New York, Chicago, Los Angeles and Columbus!
Editors work closely with various departments and are responsible for editing manuscripts for content, accuracy, reading level, grammar style and length. Additionally, editors identify problem areas in content and recommend solutions.
Qualifications:
* Bachelor's degree required
* Strong communication skills, including a thorough command of the English language, spelling, writing and grammar
* Ability to prioritize, multi-task, and manage multiple projects.
* Knowledge of Microsoft Office products
Desired:
* Former teaching experience with a strong emphasis in the following disciplines: Math, Reading, Science and Languages
* Editorial experience and/or educational publishing experience.
* Experience with Adobe InDesign or InCopy
