Job Description:
Peppermill Resort Casino Reno is looking for a Chinese Chef de Cuisine to run all aspects of our Chinese cuisine programs. Position will be responsible for opening procedures for our new Chinese restaurant (opening in Spring 2008). Position will hire, train, teach, and motivate staff for this outlet. Chef will also be responsible for other Chinese cuisines in Island Buffet, Room Service, Biscotti's and Banquets.
Chef must be proficient in all aspects of Chinese cookery to include Cantonese, Mandarin, Szechwan, etc. Chef must be able to cook all types of foods ( from Noodle Bar to extremely high end foods for top Asian clients ).
Chef must be able to speak, read, write and understand basic English.
